Well we've eaten our fill and had some fun
But now starts Lent now we're blue
But before we go to that somber of place
A quick heartfelt thank you
Thank for the cooking, Rich and Hal
And for putting out the fire
Steve & John for cleaning and washing
Ed & Judy for drinks we desire
While I'm most grateful I really, really am
The thanks you'll hear with a thunderclap
At the pearly gates St. Peter will shout
